Symons Circular Steel Column Forms provide the strength of an all-steel design and save labor because these rigid forms virtually eliminate the need for waler or strongback requirements and reduce the number of ties required. The round column form panels are constructed with a 3∕16" steel face plate and heavy-duty crossmembers to support higher pour rates. Panels are available in more than 80 sizes, from 96" diameter by 10' long to 18" diameter by 1' long. The number of sizes provides more options when designing columns, piers and bullnose ends. The large size means fewer pieces, fewer joints, fewer ties and less assembly labor. These round column forms are optimized for columns where repetition, multiple lifts and a smooth finish are required.
